Saturday is all about lazing around at home, and that's exactly what my family do. We cook the biggest fry up for breakfast and then sit in front of the TV and enjoy our food. I really enjoy our family time on Saturdays as we don't really see each other during the week because of work, school and college.
When I woke up this morning, I had a feeling it's going to be a busy day and that's exactly what it was. After breakfast my dad told us to get ready to go out with him, so out of curiosity we all asked him where he is taking us and all we got was the word supermarket.
I thought we must be going somewhere really exciting but I was really disappointed when I found out it was the supermarket. I really didn't fancy going shopping on a Saturday to the supermarket as it's always packed with screaming babies and annoying kids running around.
As we were driving to the supermarket I realised that my dad was driving past all the supermarkets and we were heading somewhere else. Now we all were very curious as to where we were going but we didn't want to ask him because we knew he wouldn't tell us.
Ten minutes into our journey, my dad couldn't hold it in no more and he told us that we are going to the Car Supermarket in Midlands. We still had a long way to go which is probably why he told us where we are going. Now I'm excited and can't wait to get there.
