Ties have been around for many years. They go back hundreds of years and can be seen and recognised all throughout history. Of course through time the designs of the tie has changed somewhat but the main function and purpose of the tie still remains the same. Ties are also now worn by many people in the sporting world, when travelling to and from destinations, sports players are often seen wearing ties that reflect which country or sporting organisation they are from. Also when teams win competitions for example then they would more than likely dress smartly demonstrating the club they are from by wearing a club tie.
