You must have passed the Cosmetology Licensing Exam in your state and have earned an associate degree. You must have undergone proper training too. The number of months for training varies. Cosmetology and hairstyling training programs last for about nine months or longer while manicurist training programs may last for about ten months.
Once you reach professional level, you will then have a chance to earn substantially. Cosmetology is a field that never crashes.
