I have seen this technologyin the CSIR Technofest 2010, showcased by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, at India International Trade Fair during November 14-27, 2010 New Delhi, India. I understand that "Cyclone Shelter" was developed by Structural Engineering Research Centre (SERC), Chennai, India.
I came to know this wonder that all tree stems are in round shape and this round shape withstands in cyclone time also. God created all tree stems in round shape for protecting them in difficult times like cyclone. Air force will damage big buildings and tree will not be affected even for this air force. Palm trees, Coconut trees and all trees' stems are in round shape and the round shape will not be affected by cyclone because air force will not have any effect on the round shape. Air force will go in different ways due to round shape. Many buildings will be damaged due to cyclone effect.
SERC, Chennai have an idea of construction a cyclone shelter in round shape. SERC has constructed cyclone shelter in Orissa and Andhra Pradesh. The idea has taken from the nature itself to construct a cyclone shelter in round shape. In that shelter, ground floor will be used for cattle, buffalo, goat, sheep and other species purpose. The first floor is real shelter for humans. This shelter is little high from the road or ground level in ground floor itself. The round shape of building will not haveany effect in cyclone time becuase air force will go in different ways..
Some of the areas are always affected by cyclones every year. So this cyclone shelters are useful in those areas. In the ground floor, all pillars are in round shape to avoid the air force during the cyclone times. This cyclone shelters will not be damaged because of cyclone air force.
