After The Affair, Do Not Obsess!
Usually when a person finds out that they have been cheated on, their mind starts to race and there are too many thoughts flashing in and out of their minds for them to be able to focus on any one. They want to know why they were cheated on, where the affair took place, and even what he or she looks like or what they were wearing. Then the big question is asked, "What does he or she have that I don't?
It is a thought process and may be required knowledge, but the simple truth is that there are really only a couple of things that need to be asked in order to establish whether or not your marriage can survive, and they are:- "Is the affair over?" and "Are you going to do it again in the future?"
If your spouse can assure you that a) the affair is over! and b) they will not do it again, then all the rest of the details are just water under the bridge and eventually the ebb and flow will take them away.
