Have you ever seen a psychic on TV showing his or her ability? Probably not, unless it is in some sort of movie where the main character went to carnival or something like that. The psychic most of the time is characterized as devious, fraud, usually gypsies that only after your money.
Psychic ability while very good does not make a good movie. The only way psychic ability ever makes it to the silver screen is by exaggerating them ten folds and then some. That is why when you hear the word psychic you mind immediately jump to the movie version that you are familiar with and your better judgment scream impossible.
Psychic ability is just like any other ability you have such as the ability to smell, to see or even to feel.
Do you ever wonder why unexplained phenomenon happens more in developing countries than in developed world such as the US?
The truth is people in developing countries are more attuned to their extrasensory perception. This is usually unintentional, it's just the way they live their lives. Many of these people live some 200 miles from nowhere and sometimes have to walk out at pitch black night for waters or visiting sick relatives. These kinds of people are usually more perceptive and accepting to the fact that some things are just unexplainable. In a way, their extrasensory perception is much more sensitive that us city dwellers.
Many scientists even reputable one unfortunately also fall into this trap. They would do their scientific experiment and off course 9 out of 10 it disproves the existence of psychic ability. If you go to the mall or university, select say a 100 people, take them to the lab, and have them juggle sticks like circus performer do, what are the likelihood that you will actually get someone who is a good juggler there? By the end of the day, you also would have disproves the existence of jugglers. Do you see the similarity here?
Much like juggling, psychic is an ability that we are all born with. Sadly, with the pace of modern world and its convenient technology, we are unconsciously opting to never use psychic ability.
Have you ever experienced, usually when no one is there to watch, at one time you really good at something? For instance, maybe when you are about to fall, without thinking about it you somehow protected your body and made the fall less painful, or your quick reaction saves your coffee from splattering all over the place. You don't know how it happened, but you just glad it did. With psychic it called de ja vu. It just happened, even if you want to repeat it again it just won't.
So basically everyone is a psychic, just like juggler, there are people who are good at it (seems like) without hard work. But even the most gifted juggler will not know whether they are gifted or not unless they try juggling things.
