If you are currently on your journey get fit, I congratulate you. You are taking steps towards leading a healthier life. If you have yet to start a fitness regimen, what is holding you back? Why haven't you started?
Chances are, you probably have a reason why you haven't been exercising. In my opinion any reason not to work out is an excuse. Excuses will keep you from living a healthier life, and they are a way to shift the blame from yourself.
When someone comes up with excuses, the only one standing in their way to a healthier life is themselves. They are keeping themselves from exercising. It doesn't matter how little free time you have, exercising can always fit into a schedule.
I know I've come up with several excuses as to why I can't exercise. My favorite ones are, "I don't have time for it", "I'll start tomorrow", and, "I'm too tired to exercise". These are classic excuses that many people besides me use.
Don't put it off any longer. It is hard to exercise, and it may bring you pain to start a fitness regimen. However, when you don't do it, you are hurting yourself and your body, so the pain of exercising is worth overcoming.
You can start making healthier decisions right this very moment. Make it a goal that from this point on you are going to begin to make better decisions about your health.
Starting can be the hardest part for many people. If starting isn't hard enough, it is even harder for others to actually keep going. Many people eat well, and exercise well for a couple of days and then throw it all out the window and fall back into old habits.
Take today as an opportunity to start new, healthier habits that will actually help you rather than hurt. Anyone can fit 20 minutes of exercise into their day, so take the time to plan when you will do it, and make sure you do it. Don't accept any excuse that you may come up with.
