In this article I will share with you the reasons why I decided to take my offline network marketing business to an online network marketing business. In most network marketing opportunity's the company promotes the business as something that can be done part-time. They recognize that most people work full-time and have limited time to build a business. They want to sell the fact that you can build a sizeable network marketing business in your spare time while working at your full-time job.
There is some truth in this, and many network marketers have started part-time and built huge downlines. However, the vast majority have not. There are a few major reasons behind this. To start, most network marketers are taught to make a list of their friends and family. The goal is to share the business opportunity and the company's products with their list. The goal in the beginning is to work within your list. As you recruit others into your downline you will tap into your new recruits list of friends and family and so on and so forth. We all know it is NOT that simple but this is the basic concept. Now comes the problem - What happens when you go through your list and no one wants to join your opportunity? What happens when your friends refuse to talk to you anymore? What happens when no one on your list wants to buy your products? What happens when your new team does not duplicate and quits?
These are real challenges!
The problem with offline marketing is that the above scenario happens all too often. The only solution then is to 'cold market' prospect. Either a network marketer will buy generic home business leads and begin cold calling them or they will knock on doors and businesses, or spend tons of money on classified ads. Now, their part-time/spare-time business becomes a lot harder and more frustrating as they rack up debt buying generic leads and face massive amounts of rejection cold market prospecting.
For an offline network marketer who has a family and a full-time job it becomes all but impossible to prospect enough so that there is enough qualified prospects for their business to grow.
My friend, everything up to this point happened to me and I'm not alone. I needed a steady stream of prospects everyday that I could talk to. I learned that by using technology (Internet) I could generate prospects for my business on autopilot thereby leveraging my time. I was excited! Everyday while I was at my job I would be generating prospects for my business online. This really motivated me and
