Error 1723:

There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A DLL required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.

Ensure You have Intalled an Appropriate Version of Java Software

An incorrect version of Java software may lead this error. You shall check whether the version of Java you installed is supported to your system. If it is not, then uninstall it and install the correct version.

1. Click Start | Control Panel.

2. Windows XP users, double click Add or Remove Programs. Windows Vista/ 7 users, click Programs | Uninstall a Program.

3. Select Java from the list of installed programs.

4. Click Uninstall button to start the uninstall process.

5. Restart your computer after it finishes.

Restore the System to an Earlier State

Rollback your system to an earlier state before you installed Java, or otherwise, before the time you started getting the problem. You need to use System Resore utility to perform this task.

1. Click Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | System Restore.

2.Follow the on screen instructions.

Uninstall Java with Revo Uninstaller

If you are facing problems uninstalling Java, then you can try doing so using a tool called Revo Uninstaller. Download Revo Uninstaller, and install it on your computer. Open it and follow the instructions on your screen.
