HP, in partnership with the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore (IIIT-B), has launched HP Network University. Based at the IIIT-B campus in Electronic City, Bangalore, the University will allow IT professionals to advance their IT knowledge in the delivery of next- generation enterprise networks.
"The next-generation networks built on converged infrastructure are going to be central to the datacenter of the future. The Network University professionals will be able to design, build and operate these next-generation networks," said Prof. Sadagopan, Director, IIIT, Bangalore. "We bring together expert faculty, best-in-class infrastructure and a proven industry academia relationship. Our association with HP will add immense value to our education system and bridge the gap of training between employers and academic institutions."
Spread over three to six months, the course will cover basic to advanced levels of networking, network security, consulting, unified communication and converged infrastructure. HP and IIIT- B will also establish a dedicated lab to study and analyze networking technologies.
