Never has so much talentBrooks, who wrote and directed the movie and the film's stars, the usually chirpy Reese Witherspoon, the hilarious Owen Wilson and reliably solid Paul Ruddconverged to produce so much unfunny dreck. Only the charming and cuddly Rudd emerges as a beacon of light in this two-hour parade of creative darkness.
Reese Witherspoon can be seen in this movie coming up with another Oscar deserving character portrayal and her effortless naturalism that is put into her role makes scenes to come alive. Paul Rudd following the success of his latest project surprises the audience with his lively performance by enriching the movie content with his involvement. Owen Wilson also comes up with a memorable piece of acting in this movie and the eccentric character traits he carries out make everyone to have nice surprising feeling empowering them. Jack Nicholson too fulfills his duty by starring in a prominent role and his involvement in the movie makes it to sound more interesting.
