If you have spent any appreciable amount of time online, you have most likely seen the ads which seem to promise near instant wealth with virtually no effort.
Be amazed...$1,226,377 in 5 months, and very simple.
Don't join any online opportunity until you see how you too can earn $24,300 a month.
A global business that will allow you to earn $23,100 in 100 days.
A friend was really mad at me. He begged me to show him how I'm averaging $145,000 a month online.
And on and on they go, many replete with pictures of someone lounging on a tropical beach with a laptop and a sports car.
Unfortunately, there are those who for whatever reason buy into these claims and, I suspect, end up with depleted wallets.
There are ways to make money online, but they are few and far between. All require considerable effort with the return usually being commensurate with that effort.
The focus of this writing is a way to make a modest return with virtually no risk. I've spent a good deal of time over the last year seeing if I could find a site or two which were not scams and which afforded an opportunity to make money with little or no financial risk. To date, there are two with which I've become involved. One is an affiliate marketing site which, with the expenditure of a lot of effort, has yielded decent returns. However, the jury is still out on this one and, as a result, I'm holding off writing about it.
The second is a GPTC site. For those not familiar with this acronym, it stands for "get paid to click." Click what? Advertisements, thirty seconds each. For each click, the return is a whopping penny (yes, $.01). Occasionally an ad will pay $.02 and once in the proverbial blue moon, $.03. It's free to join. Unfortunately, when I first started there were only a handful of ads available and I calculated it would take me a year's worth of clicking to make all of $15.00.
I then "upgraded" to a premium membership by paying a one year fee of $10 in order to get considerably more ads per day. Three weeks later I had my ten dollars back and I was on the way to making what projected to be about a hundred dollars over the course of a year.
This is when I went to the third and last step - which costs only the expenditure of time - getting referrals; that is, individuals who sign on to the site through my link. I get paid for the referrals and get something every time they click. If any of these second level people get referrals, I get additional payments through eight levels. With a large number of referrals, presuming that a small percentage of these will put in a decent amount of time and effort getting their own referrals, the potential exists to make hundreds and ultimately more.
Although I have yet to expand to other GPTC sites, there a those who are working multiple sites. Many of these sites are ill run, have no track record or are nothing more than scams. Caveat emptor.
