Attracting Abundance - Resolve Subconscious Feelings About Wealth and Wealthy People

Outside appearances lead many of us to believe that this is not possible. Furthermore, many people believe this is even wrong and it is selfish to want more than the basic necessities to live life. This is complete BS and is a result of all the erroneous beliefs that our conscious minds have taken in as truth and sent down to the depths of our unconscious mind, which controls our actions and the results we get in our lives whether we realize it or not. Throughout our lives we are fed information that leads us to believe that wanting money is wrong and wealthy people are bad in various ways. These insidious influences that hinder attracting abundance include news, movies, television, religious institutions, parents, neighbors, and friends. Attracting abundance will not be possible until you can realize that these are all faulty interpretations and there is nothing wrong with having lots of money. There are plenty of ways to get it without taking it from another or trading your values and beliefs. This deprogramming can be a challenge but it can be achieved.

Wealthy people get a bad rap in both fictional portrayals and in real life. Even though movies, books and television shows are often based on fictional people and events, they often portray real life attitudes, stereotypes and beliefs. Rich people are often portrayed as either greedy evil people who gain a fortune through lies, deceit, and harming others or they are portrayed as pretentious bumbling fools with silly names and a complete detachment from "reality". Think of Mr. Howell and Lovey from Gilligan's Island or any various spin on the evil corporation against the hard working employees. Real life has plenty of examples as well. One of the most recent examples is floundering companies spending government bailout money on huge bonuses for its top executives or wiping out the pensions of all the hardworking lower level employees. We look at these examples in disgust and think all wealthy people are greedy. We look at our average mediocre lives and it makes us feel better to think things like "we may not be rich but at least we are honest". Not all wealthy people are like this, I assure you. But the news does not really report positivity at all, let alone a story about a wealthy person building a school in a poor area or starting and supporting charitable foundations. The stereotypes make for good story lines that evoke emotional response in viewers. You may or may not consciously be aware of these attitudes but I assure you that if you are truly serious about attracting abundance and you have yet to, these beliefs are somewhere within you sabotaging your efforts.

Another issue counteractive to attracting abundance is the ever present guilt and thinking that money is in finite supply. You can make enough money to take that first class flight and donate to causes you care about. There is no limit to what you can achieve. We see wealthy people buy expensive cars and houses and we are jealous whether we realize it or not. We get indignant and say things like" They spend 50 grand on a car and there are starving children in Africa". We see how many people live in abject poverty and we feel guilty for wanting the best in life when we think we should just be happy with a roof over our heads,etc... Guess what? Attracting abundance is the birthright of everyone in this world and as long as you are not hurting others to achieve your ends, you can have whatever you want. It is just important to achieve harmony with the other aspects of yourself. Pursuing money to the exclusion of everything else is not good for anyone and will not bring you happiness. Attracting abundance is not just about money. People living in poverty is the result of a collective poverty consciousness and it will just perpetuate as long as people believe they cannot change their circumstances. Of course, people have different starting off points depending on where they are when they decide to pursue this new consciousness, but it can be done by anyone, no matter what their present circumstances are like now. All our lives we are exposed to this sort of thinking and it makes us feel badly about the desire for attracting abundance. It is nonsense and if you truly desire wealth and a better life, you will need to deprogram yourself of this belief as quickly as possible. You do not need to make excuses or apologize for your desire for a better life. A better you will help make a better world and you will be able to contribute many great things to society if you are attracting abundance and using it for good.
