Leaky Gut Syndrome And The Bloodstream
Leaky Gut Syndrome And The Bloodstream

It is difficult to pinpoint what the primary cause of leaky gut syndrome is, suffice it to say what they will all have in common is that they have the effect of damaging the gastro intestinal wall. Some common causes are alcohol, NSAIDS, bacterial growth and inflammation of the gut. What happens is that the walls that normally keep toxins and other foreign particles inside the intestines are unable to properly prevent them from passing in to the blood stream. Once these foreign particles are inside the bloodstream they can be carried all through the body and can cause havoc almost anywhere. Let us begin with the various toxins that can pass through the intestinal wall. Ones they are through they increase the toxin levels of our blood. These toxins will then need to be "cleansed" by the liver. But the liver can only do so much, and because too many toxins are constantly invading the bloodstream it will come to a point that the liver cant filter all of them and they will eventually be distributed to the different organs of the body. Complications that can arise from these are allergies and infections along with a general feeling of weakening.Another problem that can and will arise is the invasion of other foreign particles into the blood stream. Small bits of slightly digested food and similar substances. The danger that this causes is the production of antibodies to combat these "threats." You see our body will think that these particles are dangerous and so will increase the normal production of antibodies. A complication that can arise from this is the development of anti-immune diseases. Gut Syndrome is not a condition that can be overcome with supplements or medication alone. You have to rebuild the gut from the ground up. Using a good leaky gut diet is the first step of overcoming any symptom related to leaky gut. The importance of diet in this process is almost always overlooked. Finally, bacteria that is found in the gut may also enter the bloodstream once the intestinal wall is damaged. There are many forms of bacteria inside the gut and some of them are bad bacteria that either come with the food we eat or are part of the normal digestion process. Once they are inside the bloodstream, they can cause infections in different organs. These are only a few of the many things that happen when a person is suffering leaky gut syndrome. Which is why digestive health should never be taken for granted.
