Quidditch Teams should consist of 7 players, consisting of three chasers, two beaters, one keeper and one seeker. The Chasers are the one who progress up and down passing the Quafflle by hand amongst them and try to keep it away from the other team. The Beaters are armed with wooden clubs which are similar to a baseball bat but a shorter one. They are tasked to protect their team from bludgers by knocking the balls off course or towards an opponent. The Keeper will protect the three goal hoops same way as a goal keeper in soccer game. Finally, the Seeker, who usually is the lightest member of the team and is equipped with a fastest broom, is charged with searching the pitch for, chasing down and eventually captures the Golden Snitch. Seekers are only one allowed to touch the Golden Snitch. A Quidditch team includes one captain who can play any of the four roles.
Besides having 7 or more players for each Quidditch Teams, a team should also have a broom, 2 sets of capes, eye protection (like goggles), mouth guard, Goal hoops (created using 3 hula hoops at varying heights), 3 "Bludgers" (10" red rubber kickball), 1 "Quaffle" (a slightly deflated volleyball), 1 "Snitch" (tennis ball), Colored Headbands per team, Scoreboard, Whistle, and a field (football sized field is better).
In some countries, they have made professional Quidditch teams of their own, like in Britain and Ireland. They have at least 13 teams; a few are Appleby Arrows, Ballycastle Bats, Caerphilly Catapults, Chudley Cannons and Falmouth Falcons
When starting your own Quidditch Team, you need not have all the equipments mentioned above. For a start, you can have 1 Goal Hoop, 2 Bludgers and a tiny backyard to play in.
