Quidditch is an amalgamation of dodge ball, basket ball, capture flag and freeze tag. Here are the Quidditch rules:
Chasers and the Quaffle: chasers have to get the quaffle in their buckets to score a point, while their bucket is being guarded by the opponents' keeper. He must prohibit the opponents' quaffle to go in to the buckets. He is protecting two buckets with two opposing chasers which makes it more difficult to guard. The chasers are not allowed to run with the quaffle, it has to be passed by throwing or bouncing. If the player is holding the quaffle, he must not move but he also must not hold the quaffle for more than a few seconds. Each successful quaffle inside a bucket will give the team 10 points.
Quidditch rules on Reserves, Beaters and the Bludgers: reserves throw bludgers at players while standing outside the pitch. If a player got hit by the bludgers, he must freeze for 30 seconds. Once hit, the player must count "one elephant, two elephant" until it reaches 30 seconds. After counting, the player has to shout "in" to get in the game. Per team has a beater, he has to protect its teammates from the bludgers. Beaters cannot be frozen even if they got hit by a bludger. When he catches one, he must throw it out of the pitch immediately without falling into the pitch; once it falls the beater must freeze for 30 seconds. Reserves are not allowed inside the pitch except when they are collecting bludgers. They can go around the side of the pitch for better position.
Seeker and the snitch: A seeker has to wear a cap. At the end of the pitch, a snitch is place between two buckets. Seekers will try to steal the other teams snitch and bring it back to their end. When this happens the game will end. Capturing a snitch is equivalent to 150 points.
Starting the game: The referee will blow his whistle and throw the bludger in the air
Referee: The referee has the power to say if the player can continue playing. He is there to make sure that everyone is playing fairly.
End of the game: the game will end if the snitch of the opposing team has been apprehended. You are allowed to do this if your team is winning.
This game is played the best of nine games. These are the Quidditch rules.
