Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to King Tutankhamen's collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before its discovery in the 1922 excavation of the tomb.
Then proceed to visit Citadel of Salah El Din which was constructed by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills in 1183 AD. It was built to defend Cairo from the armies of the Crusaders and to become the center of Salah El Din's government.
