Sanity is only normality as precieved by the majority of a culture or society. But what if their assumptions about what normality entails are in themself insane? Take this example; If a person lives in a filthy environment where they destroy and consume everything they are insane. But all we do as a species is pollute, consume and destroy. Capitalism driven controlled greed is how we've come to this point. The questions that are left: Are we going to fix this? How do we fix it?
The problem? We are all insane. And what's worse, we don't all admit it. So how do you fix a problem that no one adresses? How do you let everyone know that we've become exactly what we wanted to avoid? Capitalism is nothing more then Controlled Greed. Greed, one of the Seven Deadly Sins. As a society that has created most of its laws based on the morales of the Christian faith, how did Big Business and Controlled Greed slip thru the Cracks?
How do you tell the people that their Governement lies to them. Who is in control of our Government? Well it can't be those Big Businesses that pump money into certain campaigns to help certain politicians out who will help to keep those Businesses in power, thus perpetuating the problem even further, and leading to just more lies. Not a sin, but when it comes to things like Thousands of lives being lost for a War that was (it turns out) not justified it might need to be reconsidered by the Church. I mean it's not like they haven't faked, forged, reworded or changed anything before. Which makes me wonder how anyone can follow a religion that preaches morality, when the church fully supported the desicration of what should have been as holy to them as the Bible. Wait. It was the Bible. Oh well. No biggie right?
We are the fattest nation. We consume more material goods then are needed. Simple Facts. Gluttony. Yet another Sin. Yet again, a problem that can easily be attributed to Big Bussiness. Now I'm not saying that Big Bussiness is the only cause of everything that is wrong with America today. Mostly because we're so fucked up that to attribute all of our problems to a single source is itself insane. Kind of like thinking that these are the only problems that face our nation as the age changes. I say as the age changes because something must give, something has to be done. To be blind enough to not see these blaring problems is just like each and every one of us. Insane.
