CFL lamps contain mercury and phosphor which makes them difficult to dispose of in a safe way LEDs contain no dangerous chemicals and are therefore easy and safe to dispose of and are fully recyclable.
I don't want to have to replace all my electrics and light fittings.
LED lamps run off regular 240V mains electricity meaning that you don't have to do anything to convert your power source before fitting them.
