What Does the Phone Look Like? Of course, one of the first considerations whenever youre thinking of getting a new phone is the appearance. No matter how many features a phone may have, if you dont like the way it looks, you probably wont buy it. The design of the phone reflects a fun, playful attitude. It measures 106 x 57 x 12 mm and weighs only 98 grams, which makes it one of the most lightweight touch screen phones available today. The QVGA touch screen display measures 2.8 inches and supports up to 256k colours and has a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It comes in two colours basic black and a more playful bright blue. What Can the Phone Do? The M5650 comes with a 3 megapixel camera which can be used for recording videos and for video calling. The VGA camera is smartly facing front to make it easier to take pictures. The autofocus feature also lets you take the best snapshots, which has a maximum resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Aside from the standard music player, the M5650 comes with a stereo FM radio with RDS. It also has dedicated music control keys. Incorporating 3G connectivity, the music player can support MP3, eAAC+, MP4 and WMV. There is even a new feature included called the Find Music Recognition Service. Its internal memory of 50 MB can easily be expandable by up to 8 GB with the use of a microSD memory card. The phone supports WiFi 802.11 b/g and HSDPA 7.2 Mbps connectivity. It also has Bluetooth A2DP. The Lindy M5650 also supports EDGE and GPRS, and features Java MIDP 2.0 as well as WAP 2.0 / HTML. Basic applications and features are also included in the M5650. This includes a user friendly calendar, a document viewer, an organizer, a voice memo and a phone book that can take up to 1000 contacts. The TouchWiz interface also features notable tools such as single finger zoom and smart unlock. The Samsung Lindy M5650 uses a standard Li-Ion 960 mAh battery that can support up to 3 hours of talk time and 300 hours on standby mode. When Can We Get the Phone? The much anticipated Lindy has been soft launched already in Portugal and Spain at a price of 149, which is pretty affordable considering all the features included in the handset.
