subject: P-flip Solar Iphone Charger Review [print this page]

Staying up to date on new solar gadgets can be a daunting task. There are a variety of solar powered chargers offered which essentially do the same thing. Most solar iPhone chargers can charge from a computer, wall port and in some cases a car charger. Solar chargers come in many shapes and sizes, but typically fall into two main categories. Solar chargers either attach right to the iPhone or to it with a charging cord. The P-Flip iPhone Solar Charger attaches directly to your iPhone. One half of the charger rests on the back of the iPhone while the other half can be adjusted to range of positions. While this may sound bulky, it is quite convenient as it doubles as a vertical or horizontal stand.

The P-Flip has two solar panels which makes it possible to solar charger regardless of how the charger is set up. One solar panel can be found on the back of your iPhone and the second panel is on the bottom half. The P-Flip usually charges (solar) in about twelve to fifteen hours. If you charge it via your computer or laptops usb port, you can expect a full charge in less than half the time. You can check the P-Flips battery life simply by pressing the button found on the side of the device and waiting for the three light led display to light up.

Removing the P-Flip for storage is easy as disconnecting it from the charging port and sliding it off. When collapsed, the P-Flip is roughly the size of a wallet and weights only five ounces. Overall the P-Flip Solar iPhone Charger is one of the most function solar powered iPhone chargers available. Although it might be considered a bit large to leave on while making a call, the P-Flips ability to double as a stand for gaming, reading or watching a video surely makes up for this.
