I question whether this was real or not. General Larry Platt is well over the age limit for an American Idol contestant, and I simply do not think after a long day of thousands of auditions, that the American Idol judges would let someone that doesn't fit the critera through. Then again, I don't really care. If they hadn't let him through, the world might never know GLP.
