subject: Is Your Body Receiving The Essential Nutrients It Need? [print this page]

Early lastyear leading pharmacy Boots revealed that they didnt believe homeopathic medicine could improve your well-being. However, despite this revelation and continual studies which prove that homeopathy gives the same results witnessed in placebo tests, the NHS still managed to spendmore than 4 million pounds in the last 12 monthscreating homeopathic solutions.

Shocked by the National Health Services and Boot's no harm theories to homeopathy, over three hundred activists are now planning to take part in a group homeopathic binge to help raise awarenessabout the fact that homepathy is ineffectual.

During this demonstrationwhich is set to take place on the 30th January 2010, all 300 members will publicly swallow a completebox of 60 homeopathic tablets to demonstrate that they are nothing more than sugar pills and encourage pharmacies to take them off their shelves

Where was Homeopathy discovered?

Described by many as all natural herbal medicine most of the substances contained within this commonly accepted complementary medicine are so minisculethat there really is nothing to them.

Yet further research into the creation of homeopathy has revealed that it is not strictly an herbal medicine, but is structuredon three central tenets discovered in 1796 by Samuel Hahnemann. Threetenets which are still used today:

-The Law of Similars the theory where the cause of your illness can also cause them i.e. taking caffeine supplements to remedy sleep deprevation

-The Law of Infinitesimals where the more diluted the remedy is from water, the more strong it will be

-The Law of Succession where intense shaking of a homeopathic remedy would further increase its concentration

Reviewingthis history, it is easily understandable why demonstraters are requesting that the government to order the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence to assess whether it is necessary for the National Health Service to promote homeopathy. Providing few if any results, all clinical trials point to the fact that they will not improve your well-being.
