1. When you are walking up to her, act like nothing is amiss.
Don't make it obvious that you are floored by how attractive she is, or that you are nervous about making an impression on her. The more aloof that you can be about it, the better. When you come across as being hung up on her approval, you are going to make yourself lose any appeal that you might have had with her. Of course, there are always going to be a case of nerves, but you must get on with it anyway.
2. If she is with a friend, approach the friend first.
This can be a really good trick to do when you see two women out together. For one, women are a little competitive with each other when it comes to getting attention from guys. And also, it does something to make her think that you have not really noticed her, but her friend instead. Play it cool, and there's good odds that she will be the one that is trying to get YOUR attention.
3. Approach a woman at the right time.
This is really important and can take some time and skill to be able to really get the proper timing down. If you approach a woman 5 minutes after she has just brushed off some real jerk, and you come across like a refreshing change of pace, this can make it a LOT easier for you. And if she is good looking enough, you can be pretty sure that some jerk will approach her. So, sometimes, waiting it out for the right time can actually be a GOOD thing.
