What is your schedule like? How frequently and where you speak?

the answer to this query is kind of covered above, but for the past 15 or so years, I average chatting with from 350 to 450 different groups every year. I have talked in all fifty states on many occasions. ( WallBuilders also has 3 other speakers who regularly address groups that I can't accommodate in my schedule. ) My efforts are typically restricted to America. I'm regularly asked to work with central authorities and regime leading players in foreign nations, but I customarily decline. While I like sharing with all Christians the Biblical elements for presidency and for voter involvement, I feel particularly directed toward America. Therefore , my travels to foreign countries are often to speak on American army bases in foreign lands ( I will travel to almost any nation to talk to American army personnel ). My work with govts and Christians in foreign countries is generally limited to telephone consultation and/or television programs beamed into their states. The settings for my displays in America are diverse and include churches, colleges, colleges, meetings, business groups, political groups, legislatures ( both state and Fed.

what is the focus of your advocacy nowadays?

Our advocacy is generally directed by the issues of the day. That is, we often don't concentrate on an issue till something, or someone else, directs our attention to that issue.

As an example, within 6 weeks after President Clinton took office, as one of his first 3 major acts he proposed to lift the ban on gays in the military. The general public reply against that proposal was fast and clear ; previous records were surpassed for the amount of phone calls received in Washington, and a vast super-majority of the callers were opposed to lifting the ban. Pentagon officials and other army pros gave evidence the issue of gays in the army was a relatively recent one, and that Congress needed to craft a policy to address it. In that time, we received a call from sea company officials who questioned if the Founding pas had any opinions on homosexuals in the military. We had no idea, but promised to test. We were shocked by what we found. For example, we found out that the 1st gay kicked out of the army was by George Washington in 1778, and he offered a succinct and pointed outline of that dismissal. Others with very clear views about homosexuality included Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, and so on. Therefore , not only was the issue of homosexuality a Biblical issue, it was also an historical one. We had not consciously planned to research the issue, yet the immediacy of the issue joined with the request from army leadership directed us toward that location of inquiry.
