Electronic cigarettes also have fewer health hazards. Although cartridges can contain nicotine, the device does not use tobacco, tar, or other carcinogens added to ordinary cigarettes. The device, as well, does not emit smoke, as vapor is only inhaled through the mouthpiece. As a result, it can be used in far more places without adding secondhand smoke into the surrounding area.
