subject: Win All Arguments In Your Home Business Online Opportunity [print this page]

The very best way to win an argument is not to start one in the first place!

There are no winners in an argument. If an argument is won, then there is the loser who has had an embarrassing climb down and there is the person that has 'won' the argument but has actually lost something far more important the goodwill of another person.

The best way to treat an argumentative person is to try to see things from their perspective. Make them feel important, like you can see their point of view. Remember it is also important to hear anothers point of view. They may see an angle that you may not have considered.

When you make them feel important, they usually have no further need to win the argument. They already feel important. Their ego is satisfied.

Down through the centuries petty arguments have escalated to wars and feuds that go on for years, long after anyone remembers what it was all about in the first place.

The reputation of my local city is ruined by a gang war that is going on for the past ten years. I doubt if anyone remembers they original argument that led to many years of bitterness, hatred and death. I am sure that this is not an isolated case.

Being argumentative is not a state of mind conducive to winning friends or influencing them. Learn not to argue. It takes far more character and self control to say nothing when you know another is wrong.

When someone criticises your home business online opportunity, let them have their say, do not interrupt. Look for areas where you might be in agreement, thank them for taking the time to look at your opportunity and giving you feedback. Look at them as somone giving you an honest critique.

Treat them as someone that is trying to help, and who knows you may even turn them into a friend.

Energy put into arguing and anger is negative, time comsuming and ultimately bad for your Internet marketing promotion.

Put your energies to better and more positive uses.
