What Equipment Is Needed To Start Doing Triathlon Training

If you want to embark on a road to becoming proficient with triathlon and be able to compete at a higher level, you need to make sure that you have the equipment that is needed to start doing triathlon. Not everyone knows what things are needed when you are competing in a triathlon, so here is a list of the equipment used when competing in a triathlon:

Tri Suit

These are suits made for being all-round good to use in a triathlon. You are trialing three different types of events and you need to have something that will fit you good in all of those. This suit fits you very good and is good for running and swimming and feels good when you are cycling as well. Some might go for a wet suit, if the weather is cold for the swimming event, but this is a personal choice.

Bike

Kinda obvious since you must be cycling in one of the events. This will be the most expensive equipment you need to buy when attending a triathlon. You dont need to buy the best bike on the market, but something sturdy and feels good for you and take it to a shop or a friend who can tune it for you.

Running Shoes

The running shoes will be with you all through the race and should be of a little better quality than the other stuff. So prepare to spend a little extra on these, although shoes arent that expensive and with a little care can last you for a long time.

Other Equipment

You also will be needing goggles for the swimming event, helmet for cycling and probably some other accessories like gloves, pedals and sunglasses. Maybe you can ask some with experience for what they recommend beyond this, but these are staples in your invetory for a triathlon.

There the basic equipment list for a triathlon is. This is all you need (maybe even less) to complete a triathlon. Remember that you dont need to spend a fortune on this if you dont want to, just find something that is comfortable and fits to you and you are of to your triathlon training.
