In some cases, private information that can be damaging to a person are kept confidential where they are not in the public interest. An example would be any records regarding a juvenile offender, which are kept a secret to give that person a chance to make amends.

Public records can be viewed at the County Service Center at 2431 Tampa Road in Palm Harbor. You can also contact the office at (727) 464-3000. They will be able to send and documents that you request. You may also be referred to the county courthouse which for legal reasons can only be delivered by the courts.

Search services are also available on the official website of Pinellas County, which will allow you to search many records, including some court documents. However, there are more public records available that cant be found on this website, and to access them you will need to visit the County Service Center or the Courthouse.

Since theres not an official website that gives you a centralized search facility, there are third party websites created by companies that offer this service that you can search through the public records throughout the United States. This is a very quick and powerful service that can save you an enormous amount of time.
