The supreme enhancement in video games since the Wii shall be released on the first week in November. No video game has been more anxiously awaited than the latest Kinect gaming system.
Why is this new Microsoft Xbox Kinect so remarkable? Because it appears to be the first time in gaming history that the participant's body can remain the game controller. The conventional controller will not be needed.
The Nintendo Wii has been the widely used game for many months because it allowed the players to be involved in the endeavor. If tennis was the game then the participant would be swinging the racket (the game controller). If it was golf, then the players would swing the putter, driver or iron'.
Other Kinect games are comparable. It makes it much more difficult to be a couch potato' and play Xbox Kinect games.
A new wrinkle has been added. The Kinect game will allow for the same type of endeavor but will eliminate the controllers from the game. A player's body will substitute for the game controller.
As they watch the TV they will be able to see their particular avatar (likeness) as they jog, vault, race or combat the adversary with a light saber.
Not only will they be involved in the match but they will be able to look at themselves while they are involved in the Kinect game.
Even the little children are able to play the Kinect game. Their avatar can be a tiger as they scurry and leap through an obstacle path.
Certainly one of the popular games, it appears, will be the Kinect Star Wars game. This Kinect game will require a player to use a light saber (hand motions) in order to fight many enemies, including Darth Vader himself.
For those that are interested in dancing, there will be a game for them as well. Kinect Dance Central will help lead players through dance routines.
The new Xbox Kinect system promises to get couch potatoes off of the couch and into the action. This could well be one of the greatest advancements in video games in years.
