Football Game Advice - How the Big Game Can Help You Be A Better Lover

As I write this we are heading up to Athens, GA for the Georgia versus Georgia Tech game. This is one of the biggest rivalries in the entire southeast and it is a much anticipated game. This game is so huge that we are sixty miles away and we are in bumper to bumper traffic. What principles can we take from this big game to help us in our lives and in our relationships?Long before the game is played, or even the grills are fired up for tailgating, games are won and lost. Preparation is the name of the game. Any athlete who is a winner will tell you that their tym working out in the gym, their time on the practice field, and the blood, sweat and tears that win games. It isn't the shoes, sorry to disappoint you! How are you preparing for the big games in your life? Have you taken the time to make times that you spend with your lover special? Have you put in the extra effort? You want to be respected, have you taken the time to become that kind of man? When you make the extra effort and you take time to become a more respectable human for your partner, you are preparing for the big game.Big games are won and lost because of the way we work together. There is an old statement that says "There is no I in team"? This is something that every coach has told their team at one time. The principle is that everyone needs to work towards a common goal. This is great in concept, but here is a whole new facet you have probably never thought of. If we individually focus on being responsible for the team's performance we become the "I" in team. Be responsible for the performance of the team, that is a characteristic of being a good team member. Stop looking to everyone else to carry the load and carry it yourself, be the "I" your team. Love people when they don't deserve it. Go out of your way to do things for people who will never return the favor. When you step up and do more than is epxected there is a huge amount of power there.Big games represent those moments in our life when everything is on the line. They represent the times in which we need all of our abilities because we are facing our biggest rival. Maybe our rival is infidelity, maybe our rival is not showing our partner enough attention, maybe our rival is spending too much time at work to give our family its due. Are you ready for the big game? Have you prepared? Have you taken the time to be responsible for your team and your role in the team?
