For example, putting on eye liner, eating a burger, texting, reaching into the glove compartment for their stashed EZ pass case or GPS device. If only there was some way to reduce the number of distractions on the road.

Do not drink and drive, have a designated driver when going out to parties.
Minimize distractions from your phone by turning it to silent or purchase a earpiece.

Mount your EZ pass with a EZ pass cover/mount and your GPS on the dashboard or on the windshield before you leave.
Transportation agencies and driving school should join forces to educate drivers on safe driving techniques to minimize injuries and accident rate on the road.
