Artificial hedgeis finding new uses and has many exciting new products coming to the market. Fake hedge is designed to replicate several types of common hedges. These plastic plants are being used in traditional ways, such as border definition, and more and more as privacy screens.

Hedges have some functional uses in the home or landscape. They can mark property lines, provide barriers for people and animals, screen off unattractive views and act as a windbreak. Landscape hedges do require maintenance and watering. Artificial hedges can substitute natural plants in many of these applications. Water and labor costs rising help spur demand for boxwood hedge subsitutes.

Landscape hedges are simply bushes, trees or shrubs that have been planted in a row. The creation of artificial hedges can duplicate the effect of a natural hedge or a trimmed hedge. Both outdoor and indoor applications are being explored. Outdoor they are currently used as space dividers in commercial and residential building court yards and entrances. Events, such as weddings and show jumping for equestrian folks, currently act as showpieces for this type of portable artistry.

Indoor applications grew as new properties were constructed. Walk through a casino in Las Vegas and you will see what I mean. Boxwood is the most common type of hedge immitated. These products are made in bush, sheet, and structured hedge type. Sound privacy is also a good usage as well as visual privacy. Go a head and try some fake plants, they wont get sad when you leave town or complain about being too artificial.
