subject: A Happy Crying [print this page]

Jenny had had a united and affectionate family. Her mother, father and she had led a very happy life. Everyone would envy the family when they saw them.

Unfortunately, Jennys father died in a traffic accident. This accident broke up a happy life. Confronted with the misery, Jenny and her mother went to a mental breakdown. But life must continue. It seemed that Jenny had grown up since her father passed away. She knew she must take the heavy burden of keeping the family. She must take place of her father to look after her mother.

That was on December 5th. The next day was her parents wedding date. Before her fathers death, that day was one of the happiest days in her family. They would celebrate it and held a small family party. On that day her mother would receive her fathers gift. It might be a pair of shoes, a necklace, a dress, etc. A happy expression would come over her mothers mouth. However, this year and the following years her family would not celebrate the date. Her father could not give a present to her mother. And her mother couldnt smile on that day, instead, her mother would pipe her eyes. Jenny didnt want her mother feel grief. She hoped that her mother could still smile on her wedding date. The next day came so quickly. Actually, Jenny was afraid of this day coming. She was not sure whether she could make her mother smile. She prepared a good dinner and put one thing on the table. Then she waited her mother to come back. When her mother stepped into the house with tired and heavy pace, she was surprised at what she saw. It was the same as what it had been. Suddenly she saw the thing Jenny had put on the table. It was a red small box. She opened the box. Tears ran down her face immediately when she saw what was in the box. It was a Pandora ring which was Jennys mothers favorite jewelry. Jenny came to her mother and said: dear Mum, happy wedding date. You are always the happiest wife and mother, right? At once Jenny and her mother embraced together. yes, yes, Im the happiest wife and mother. Though Jennys mother still cried but it was a happy crying.
