subject: Make sure you know how to design your template to the most professional level [print this page]

If you are anything like me, you have never given thought to the effort that it takes to make an email template - that is, until you attempted to create one. One of the first things that I noticed was that I needed to make sure that there were links embedded throughout the email template in order to help draw people to my company. Your email newsletter template should undoubtedly include a lot of news and information about sales, but do remember to include links to your website at various points therein so that the client can easily navigate to your webpage if such is desired.

This doesn't mean that you will want to continuously put links embedded in pictures and text throughout the email. What I have found out, is that it works a lot better to just have a few various points to highlight to allow people to navigate to your page. If you have a company logo then you will want a link to your website in that picture. What is also practiced alot, is embedding links in the news and sale sections of your website. And, I double check that I have placed a text link at the end of the email for easy access for clients.

To maintain professionalism in my email lay-outs, I keep clear a large portion of the mail in order to add introductions and company information. In doing this, I can make it so the email template design is professional and not just spam or begging people to buy from me. Often clients feel intimidated by overly aggressive emails, so many times it is reassuring for them to communicate to you trough an honest connection. This is why it is important that I clearly organize all of the aspects of my email marketing templates so that they actively reach out to people and work to help get them to my website successfully.
