All the boroughs was at a stand still for a few days , schools were closed and cars scattered in all highways and regular streets in the city ,where the snow plows had a hard time cleaning the streets. Kips Bay Towing had hundreds of calls from stranded motorist most of them on highways, unfortunately not all towing companiescan provide service on highways here in new York city due to a contract license that is in need and only one towing company is given that permit after a bid is placed and won by that company.

My car been stuck in the snow for one hour called Kips Bay towing company .And I was given good advise by the dispatcher not to skid the tires in one place trying to get out of the snow if so the transmission will burn out, but then it was too late.
