Costa del Sol Diving

Generally when people come on holiday to the Costa del Sol they do so in order to spend time just relaxing on the beach and getting a tan. However, if you would prefer to do something a little more exciting during your stay then why not visit one of the many diving schools located along this particular coastline.

However, you don't need to limit yourself to trying out this particular activity during the summer months; it is possible to go diving all year round. This is because the water that laps this coastline remains pretty warm throughout the year. But the best times to go diving are in fact between the months of May and September this is when the waters tend to be the clearest, so being able to view the sea life that abounds in the waters of the Mediterranean becomes a great deal easier and so a great deal more enjoyable.

When you visit the Costa del Sol you will find that it isn't just Marbella, but also Fuengirola, Torremolinos and Benalmadena where there are several diving centres to be found. Along with offering you the opportunity to be able to explore a different aspect of this part of Spain they also offer PADI courses. Here you can not only learn how to dive but if you wish they can train you so that you obtain your Dive Master certificate.

These centres will after taking you the relevant training will then take you to a number of different sites off its coast. There is the reef that is located off Torreblanca, then there are sites that are offer you to explore offer the coastlines near the towns of Nerja and Tarifa.

Although there are plenty of diving centres set up you must be over the age of 16 to actually participate in this activity.
