4. Layering and Brush strokes: Now move to creation of layers. You should know that bottom layers need to be dry faster than the top thicker layers. You can apply bottom layers very thin so that it can get dry soon. It is very important to apply brush strokes appropriately and rightly. With oil paint you can give your portrait a magical touch.
