No.1 There is no restriction and limitation of residence time towards Aliens' with Green Card(GC)s.
No.2 GCs are the legal ID card for a foreign to stay in China and can be used everywhere in China.
No.3 Aliens with GC can only enter or exit China with the valid passport and GC.
No.4 Foreigners applying for GC have to abide by Chinese law and be healthy and carrying no infectious disease and meet one of the following conditions:
A. The spouse of a Chinese citizen or a foreigner with GC, who has been married and stayed for five years. During the five years, he/she must stay in China for at least nine months and have a stable living ensurance and resident place;(Remarks: You have to offer the household certificate of your Chinese spouse or a GC of foreigner, marriage certificate, a leasing contact or property ownership certificate or a proof of stable living ensurance. If related documents are issued abroad, the documents shall be notarized by local China Embassy or Consulate.)
B. Teenagers who is coming to China to stay with his/her parents;(the application should be started by the teenager him/herself or his/her parents or his/her consignor at the municipal government or police station of the investment place. If the applicant is the consignor, the original authorization letter by the teenager should be submitted).
No.5 When filling in the application form for China GC, please hand in the documents below:
A. A valid passport or ID card that equals to a passport;
B. A health certificate issued by Health Quarantine Dept appointed by Chinese government or a foreign health and medical organization recognized by local China Embassy or Consulate;
C. A certificate notarized by the local China Embassy or Consulte, proving that you have no criminal record in your country(equals to personal notarization, remarks by Henry);
D. Four color 2-inch bare-headed picture taken recently in China;
E. Other documents related to this rules and regulations.
