Shadow the Hedgehog is an action adventure game that is developed in Sega Studio USA. Takashi lizuka have three different roles for this game including director, leading designer and writer for the scnenario. The director of the event scene is Shun Miyanaga. Kazuyuki Hoshino is the art director while Hiroshi Nishiyama is the field art director. It can be played on three different platforms including GameCube, PS2, and Xbox. In North America, the game is released on the 15th November 2005. In PAL region, it was debuted on the 18th November 2005. It was available in Japan on the 15th December 2005.There are three types of missions including dark, normal and hero. In normal mission, you are required to defeat the Black Arms. After you defeat the Black Arms, you will be able to build up the hero Gauge. When your Hero Gauge is established, you will have access to the Chaos Control. The Chaos Control allows you to progress through each stage at a faster speed so that you can reach the Goal Ring and obtain the Chaos Emerald. You can use the light dash to move through the lines rings in fast speed.In the dark mission, the layer has to destroy 35 gun troops. The dark mission is easier than the hero mission because there are lesser numbers of gun troops and you have access to the Chaos Blast. The Chaos Blast enables you to destroy all the gun troops at once. It is best that you don't kill any of the dark troops because it will lower your score. The player's goal is to activate the five jewels. The first jewel can be found inside the building after the third checkpoint is successfully activated. To activate the second jewel, you must rely on the air to lift you up. The third jewel is located after the checkpoint 6. To activate the fourth jewel, you must jump on the platform that is located right after the seventh checkpoint. You can find the fifth jewel after you have defeated the black arms and have the spring unlocked.In the hero mission, you will have to fight with 45 Black Arms. The player will be able to gain access to the Chaos Control. The Black Arms will drop suddenly from the sky so you have to lookout for them all the time. If you want to win the game with good score, you have to quickly reach the end of the level. The spotlights guide you to the enemy. To use the spotlight, you simply jump into it. After that, you will have to fight with the Gun Beetles. The firewalls are located inside the circuit. You have to avoid the firewalls so that you don't lose the rings. To avoid the firewalls, you can take the side paths. The light beams are the green bars that are located throughout the level. You can jump onto the light beam and slide down or up. There are two types of light beams including vertical and horizontal.
