subject: How To Get Rid Of Flabby Arms [print this page] Hi. This is Rene with ReneEndara.com and today's video is going to be on the truth about getting rid of those flabby arms. That problem has persisted throughout time. Everybody knows what it is the waving hand where the arm actually waves back. Women, men all of us go through it. Now, to understand how to change this, we first have to understand what it is.
First of all, flabby arms are body fat and weakened muscles. To remove body fat, which is essential, we need to do cardio and diet. We've talked about this extensively.
Now, to strengthen the muscle, you can remove all the body fat. Let's just talk about that. We can remove all the body fat, but the muscle will still be flabby if it is not conditioned to be firm. And that's what we're going to do today.
So, this is the truth. You can lose all the body fat you want to, but you must do resistance training. And the purpose of building those muscles up to become firm and toned for women and for men. Obviously, most men would like to have nice, strong muscles maybe a little bigger too, huh? Who knows.
So, we're going to do four different exercises; two for triceps, two for biceps. One of them would be called the easy curl bar. Very important, when you're doing this, to remember your elbows are always in one position, you're pushing straight down, and you're coming straight up. Ideally, when you're doing this, you want to create enough resistance where, by your last rep, you are completely fatigued.
Now, there is no benefit to just run through this. You have to actually fatigue. The muscle actually has to get tired. You actually have to sweat. These things have to happen for there to be a benefit from the gym because all you're here to do is tear muscle. And the only way to get rid of flabby arms is to build muscle. But, the only way you can build muscle is by tearing muscle. And that's what we're doing today, showing you how to tear muscle.
But, always, always, always remember that it's based on intensity. You can do this all you want to. Intensity is fatigue, sweat, being tired, cursing yourself for doing this, but loving the fact that you're changing your body and changing your health for doing it.
So, our second exercise, this was the first, would be the rope. This is another movement; same type of deal elbows in one position as you go down. The different between this and that is that as you go down you're going to separate the bottom. As you go up your hands are going above your elbows, and then you're contracting all over again.
Again, this is all based on fatigue. So, if I'm not getting tired, if it is not difficult enough for me, the benefits are nominal at best. So, remember, fatigue, fatigue, fatigue.
Let's move on to biceps. Now, when we're doing biceps, very important thing to remember basically, any time you do this, you want to tighten your abs. Tightening your abs, not only strengthens your abs, but it also protects your spine.
Now, when you're doing this, always remember your hands are out wide right where the easy curl bar is bent. And as you're doing this, tighten the abs, nice and slow, elbows in one position, straight up, straight down. And again, everything is based on fatigue. If I'm not getting tired, I'm not doing anything. I might as well go home and watch Oprah. But, we're not doing that, right?
Again, fatigue, on an average five reps are good. If you want to do eight, that's fine, but you're still fatiguing. So, whatever weight you use, use that weight so you're fatiguing at number five or number eight. It doesn't really matter if you go to 20, you fatigue at 20.
You might as well just go a little shorter, fatigue at five or eight. Get that muscle to burn. Get that muscle to fatigue. Get that muscle to finally want to heal. And that's what we're doing.
Now, another movement for biceps would actually be the basic thing in the gym is the rope; the rope and the easy curl bar. You'll find that anywhere. But, it's the same type of movement. Biceps and triceps are the same exact movement, moving in opposite directions.
So, as you come up with the rope, you're going all the way up, all the way down getting full range of motion, making sure you contract the muscles on the way up. Again, tightening the abs to make sure that everything is perfect, that you're protecting yourself, and you're doing perfect form in order to get that muscle to work as hard as possible.
So, four different exercises: triceps with the bar, triceps with the rope, biceps with the bar, biceps with the rope. And remember, fatigue, fatigue, fatigue. Any questions, email me please. Remember, RealityofAging.com. I'll see you soon. Thank you.
