Swimming is not only for exercise, recreational purposes, entertainment and fun but also it can help us lessen the stress on our body. For some people, swimming is the one best way for them to release their stress unlike others that when they are stress they'll overeat, they think too much to the point that they won't talk or sometimes because of stress their health worsen.

Swimming pools have different variety, styles and uses. It can be from competition style to relaxing style. The lists below are the different types of swimming pool where you can consider when you like to build your own pool.

1. Kiddie Pool. Short kiddie pools are the most common, popular, cheapest and often portable pool that ranges from ankle-deep to 3 feet in depth.

2. Lap Pool. Used for exercise purposes that was an equivalent of a treadmill.

3. Above Ground Pools. Easy to install and be remove. It doesn't require large hole, and is generally shallow depth.

4. Inground Pool. Takes time to be build because it does need large hole that usually surrounded by a concrete patio. It vary in depth for safety's purposes, it requires a pool fence to protect toddlers and infants from coming near the pool.

5. Athletic Pool. Usually alike in an Olympic pool ranging from 25 feet to 50 feet in length and deep enough to dive into. It has lanes divided by the use of floating markers. Can be seen mostly at the athletic center. It can be used for both exercise and competition.
