I believe this is the best way to pick your lottery numbers? If you read my previous article entitled, The lottery numbers, odd or even, you would have seen that, there are seven combinations of odd and even numbers that could be drawn on the lottery. These been, the 6 odd or 6 even combination, the 5 odd 1 even and the 5 even 1 odd combinations. The 4 odd 2 even combination, the 4 even 2 odd combination, and finally, the 3 odd and 3 even combination.

Out of the seven combinations in total, four represent an even number while, the other three represent an odd number. The four combinations that represent an even number are, the 6 odd and 6 even combinations, along with the 4 odd and 2 even and, the 4 even and 2 odd number combinations. The three that represent an odd number are, the 5-1 combinations and, the 3 odd and 3 even number combination.

Now, which is the best way to go about selecting your lottery numbers? I suggest you do a grid 6 columns by five rows or, lines you are going to take. Along the top of the grid label the columns A to F. Pay particular attention to the two middle columns C and D, these two columns are your starting point. In a lottery that uses 49 numbers, unless three numbers from 1 to 9 are drawn, column C will either contain a 10, 20, or a 30. Unless three numbers from 40 to 49 are drawn, column D will either contain a 10, 20, or a 30.

The two columns C and D can be four states, Ill explain. You can either have 2 odd numbers in both columns or, 2 even numbers in both columns or, 1 odd in column C and 1 even in column D or, 1 even in column C and 1 odd number in column D. Now, because there are only five groups of numbers that make up the 49 numbers, 1s, 10s, 20s, 30s, and finally, the 40s. One of the groups must produce a minimum of two numbers, to make up the sixth number drawn, in a lottery where you have to pick six numbers. Before you pick your numbers, decide if the next draw will produce an even number or, an odd number, pick your numbers accordingly.

If you decide that a 10 and a 20, will appear in the two middle columns and, they are both odd. Take the five odd numbers 11 to 19 in column C, followed by one odd number from the 20s all the way down in column D. If you decide that two 20s will appear in columns C and D and, they are odd. Take the lowest 20 first in C, and the next four 20s in column D, this will result in you taking only four lines instead of the five. The next two columns to select your numbers for, are columns B and E. I suggest you take two numbers in column B, split equally between the five or four lines you have taken, this applies to column E as well. Obviously the numbers that appear in column A will be lower than the numbers in column B, the same applies to column F, these numbers will be higher than in column E. For all the odd and even number combinations above, the four states that columns C and D can be, applies to them all. By placing either an odd or, even number in columns A and F, will result in the combination changing.

Good Luck!
