The Best Peanut Butter Fudge
The Best Peanut Butter Fudge

Yesterday there was frost on the ground when I woke up. I love this time of year. Of course I am sad to see the warm fall days disappear and I know I will be ready for spring sooner than later but winter means warmed cookies, holiday cakes, and holiday gifts that are bundled with love. One of my most favorite holiday recipes is peanut butter fudge.

There is something about peanut butter coming together with chocolate and it is only at this time of year that I can justify not only making it, giving it as a holiday gift, but also saving some for those cold wintery days. It is kinduv like a little piece of heaven.

Before I give you my secret recipe (okay, I actually found it years ago in a Better Homes and Gardens magazine) I have found some things that make it absolutely scrumptious. And I must say I have discovered this through trial and error.

Hint: Use natural peanut butter-but make sure it is stirred up good. Make sure you use real butter. Buttering the pans ahead of time is a great trick. This will save time, effort and will ensure a yummy complete holiday gift. Have your pans prepared and ready to go. Finally, two truly is better than one. If possible, have an extra hand to help you. This way you can double the recipe and you will not waste any fudge.

Have fun and enjoy the world's most yummy holiday gift of Peanut Butter fudge
