Become More Productive With Two Monitors
Become More Productive With Two Monitors

I want to fill you in on a little productivity tip that may help you get more work done. If it doesn't help to get more work done it will certainly open up your eyes to some new possibilities.

Ever since I can remember I have been working on two monitors. Just so we are clear, you have one computer, one keyboard, one mouse, but instead of one monitor you have two. The point is that you have lots of space now to drag and drop your windows.

In the field I'm in which is computer programming, it really helps to have two monitors. On one monitor I can be writing my programs, while stepping through the code on the other monitor. Another reason I really like the dual monitors is for my ghostwriting. I can have all my information and research on one monitor and be doing my writing on the other monitor.

Now you may be struggling to figure out why you need two monitors but if you spend much time at all on a computer, it will certainly benefit you. Another great use for two monitors is I can have a TV show or DVD playing on one monitor while working on another monitor. This is okay if you are good at multi-tasking, but if not then maybe you shouldn't try this.

Quite honestly, I really like three monitors best, but that usually means adding an extra video card and most people won't want to do that. There are many video cards on the market today that allow for two monitors so that's definitely something you should check out.

What will it be? Do you see the benefits of multiple monitors in your line or work or is just one fine for you? One thing I'll be on is that if you ever go to two monitors, you'll never go back to one.
