Many auto makers are reporting record sales and Hyundai Motor America is among them with an all-time sales record in September of 46,556. This is up a remarkable 48 percent from the same time period in 2009.

"We are enthused to be actually building momentum as we exit the traditionally strong third quarter selling season and enter the fourth quarter under a full head of steam," stated Dave Zuchowski, executive vice president of sales, Hyundai Motor America. "September's growth was led by a 161 percent sales increase by our game-changing 2011 Sonata and an all-time volume record for Genesis. In the fourth quarter, we expect continued growth as our 2011 Georgia-built Santa Fe reaches dealerships along with our all-new Alabama-built Sonata turbo producing 274 horsepower while retaining 4-cylinder fuel-economy of 33 miles per gallon."
Well, that about says it all. Patrick Hyundai Veracruz customers will continue to find great deals because the auto maker wants to keep those sales numbers up. Looking at the 2009 numbers compared to this year, Elantra, Sonata, Tucson and Genesis models had sales increases of 22 percent, 59 percent, 131 percent, and 34 percent.
What's really impressed your Patrick Hyundai Azera dealer is that Genesis had sales of 3,230 which is record-breaking and was the 15th month in a row for sales being up in year-over-year comparison. Hyundai has been up-and-coming for the last few years and is beginning to be recognized as a real contender for a top auto manufacturer worldwide. American headquarters for Hyundai are in Fountain Valley, California with its main headquarters in Korea. About 800 dealerships around the U.S. Hyundai also is known for offering 10-year/100,000-mile warranties on their vehicles along with five-year roadside assistance. They came up with the innovative idea of allowing customers to return new vehicles if they lost their jobs and could not longer afford them.
