Cleaning all types of Muddy Boots

I know there is are some that don't see the point of cleaning their muddy boots and there are those at the other end that seecleaning muddy bootsas the most important thing. The former being my son and the latter being a person that when he found the boot scraper he thought it was fantastic tool to keep his muddy shoes and muddy boots clean,as he could not ever dream of leaving the house without making sure the soles of his shoes were absolutely polished! In between these extremesthere is the rest of us that are left to clean the muddy boots ready for the next big match.

I am one of those that is in between thesetwo extremes, a very busy dad,and cleaning my son's muddy boots was always time consuming and messy. So I designed a simple hand held tool to help me. I made a prototype which worked very well and other parentsI showed it to thought it was brilliant. That was it - I had to have them manufactured. I drew up the scale drawings went to a plastics guy and drew them up again. He made thedie to mould the plasticand voila - theboot scraperis ready for you to use.

Cleaning Muddy Boots is now dead simple. You use the boot scraper to scrape out the mud (before it dries)from in between the studs and other hard toclean areas. Then grab an old paint brush and a tub of water and wash off the left over mud. Wipe dry with an old cloth, stuff the shoes with newspaper (to help dry the boot and to keep its shape)and place them in your favourite place to dry them. Done! - muddy boots are now clean.

Another bonus is during half time the players can clean the mud out of their studs ready to have great grip for the next half. A definite advantage.

We keep one in each of the cars, sports bags and on the outside of our backpack when hiking. It is so simple and light weight and therefore can be taken anywhere.
