- Arethusa: Naiad nymph of the sacred spring which bore her name.

- Artemis: Goddess of hunting, wilderness and wild animals, also a goddess of childbirth.

- Hades: The King of the Underworld, the god of death.

- Eurynomus: Demon of the underworld, who stripped the flesh from the bones of the dead.
