subject: Clep Study Facts That You Need To Read About Now! [print this page]

Ever noticed that every single news channel, radio program and newspaper edition loves to go on about the worsening impact of the recession?

As a future CLEP test taker, this definitely strikes a nerve with you. After all, a recession means that the country is running out of money - and it's only a matter of time before colleges start to raise their tuition fees in response.

And with the average tuition already soaring past the $20,000 mark, it's not hard to see how a tuition increase could make a four-year university experience more of a luxury instead of a necessity!

If you want to study at a four-year university without paying the four-year cost, then that's just another reason why you need to make the most of your CLEP study...

...Because it can save you thousands of dollars in tuition fees!

Get a Cheaper Education with Your CLEP test

You know that the College Level Examination Program allows high school students to take as many tests as they'd like in a variety of topics, such as American History, Algebra, and Spanish. And with every test that they pass, they can apply those credits towards a college-level course in over 2,900 colleges and universities.

So the more tests you pass, the less time you'll spend at university - and the less money you'll have to spend!

Just picture it. Your CLEP study is the only thing that can guarantee you a four-year university degree without paying the four-year price.

Let's put that in another example to really hit this home. If you spend five to six weeks on your review, and pass two exams, you could earn a semester's worth of college credits. Break down $20,000 in half, and you're looking at a savings of $10,000.

And that's not including the cost of living and fees!

Take a Look at the CLEP Tips That Will Get You There!

Want to know if you should get a jump on your college education with the CLEP test? Follow these guidelines below:

*If you've got a real passion for one or two subjects, make sure you take those as a CLEP test - but don't study for them. Only study for the third CLEP exam, which should be in a subject that you're familiar with, but not an expert in.

*Not sure what that third test should be? Take a practice test in subjects that you're moderately strong in. If you get a score of 60 or above, then go ahead and register for this subject exam.

*Didn't quite hit the 60 mark? If you have the time, review the subject for two weeks, then take the practice test again. If your score has improved, then it's a worthwhile investment to take that exam!

*For that third exam, use a study guide that was published within the last year. Better still, find an online guide, as they're updated much faster than traditional published versions!
