I just have to tell all my readers about this great Heatmap WordPress theme I just downloaded. If you are ready to start blogging and are looking for a good startingpoint, you came to the right place.
You know mostly WordPress is an easy system to work with especially if you just want a plain old vanilla website. But honestly, once you download all of the free themes that WordPress offers, you will quickly get inundated with all that it cannot do or at least cannot do easily.
Just for an example, if you want to changethe home page so that it is no longer visible or it is a static page it should be a simple process, right? No. In fact, depending on the theme you have downloaded it can become a very challenging process spending hours upon hours trying to make the home page static and input the flexible content that you want. I can hear some expert, die hard WordPress fans now screaming at the top of their keyboard "you knucklehead, just create another home page, then use it at as a static page" blah, blah, blah. For the most part that can work on some themes out there but not all of them. The sad part is you won't figure out whether it will work on your theme until you have downloaded it and tried. And when you are not sure what you are looking for this will become time consuming and perhaps even discouraging.
There are however, some really good youtube videos made by some very informative people about the steps to setting that up. I certainly think it is worth a good look. Lots of very talented people have spent a lot of time creating these how-to's. Again a caution though, the videos speak to the basics mostly and some of these themes have become so advanced that the videos may not completely cover how to get your needed actions done.
But once you have made a commitment to building your online private label business, It is very important to determine what kind of blog you are going to create to support it and then search for a theme that will filt the overall structure of the message you want to convey. Here are five easy steps to getting started when picking your WordPress theme.
1. Have your domain name picked.
2. Have a basic idea of your color scheme.
3. Search other live active WordPress site for ideas and then narrow it down to the top three that you like.
4. Check out the free WordPress themes first to check consistency with what you want (monetization capability, flexibility of design, colors, is web 3.o ready (or whichever level is highest at the time you read this), and support.
5. Look into paid themes that do not require a membership, maybe a small one-time payment and forum support so that you can have some kind of guidance as you build your themed site.
In all of that frustration, I found a website WordPress theme that included a ridiculously easy plugin that allowed you to make those changes very easily. I don't have any affiliation with this company other thanI'm using its theme. So check them out at heatmaptheme.
We have no problem sharing this information with you. We think it is a good company doing the right thing, at the right time, for the right people, at the right price.
